OUR STORY
25 Years of Tradition. A New Chapter Begins.
In 2001, co-founder Mark LaRosa set out to create something more than just another softball team. His goal was to give young female athletes an opportunity to continue pursuing their passion for the game beyond recreational and Little League softball while introducing them to the competitive world of travel softball.
What began as the CT Titans grew into a family.
For 25 years, our organization has been built around relationships, player development, and providing young women with an experience that extends far beyond the softball field. We've challenged our athletes to compete, develop, and pursue excellence—not only as softball players, but in the classroom, in their communities, and in their everyday lives.
ONE FAMILY JOINING ANOTHER
As we enter the 2026–2027 season, our story begins an exciting new chapter.
After 25 years as the CT Titans, our organization is proud to become part of STARS National Fastpitch.
But this transition isn't about leaving behind who we are.
It's about taking one family organization and joining another family organization.
The relationships, traditions, coaches, families, and values that made the CT Titans special remain at the heart of everything we do. Now, we're combining that foundation with the resources, network, and opportunities available through the STARS National organization.
For our athletes, that means greater access to development, technology, competitive opportunities, college recruiting support, and a national softball network—all while maintaining the local relationships and family atmosphere that have defined our program for the past 25 years.
THE NEXT 25 YEARS
Our name may have changed, but our purpose hasn't.
We remain committed to developing athletes the right way, surrounding them with coaches who care about their growth, and creating an environment where players and families feel like they're part of something bigger than softball.
We are proud of where we came from.
We're excited about where we're going.
